It's that time of year again when many business are inundated with orders, customers and simply too much to do, we are too, but it is self inflicted. As many of you may know the real estate market slows down during the winter months, especially December and January, so why are we so busy you ask? This holiday season our team has decided to bake tarts for our clients. We have started our baking mission last week and are about 1/3 done! Our goal is to bake 150 DOZEN tarts or 1800 tarts! We are making butter tarts, apple tarts with almond icing and last but not least mince meat tarts. It has been a fun process and I have learned to make very pretty "show tarts" as Jane likes to call them. Presentation is everything in the culinary world right? We hope our clients enjoy their sweet treats and for all of you that didn't receive tarts, sell your house in 2010 and we'll be sure to be stopping by next December with some homemade goodies!
